Insurance

Insurance is mandatory for participation in the VCL road races. This covers the liability of each club and their organizers, and assures that cyclists are fully covered in the unfortunate event of a mishap. To get your cycling license, visit Cycling BC’s license registration here.

YOU CANNOT RACE IF YOU DO NOT BRING YOUR LICENSE (OR PROOF OF PURCHASE) TO REGISTRATION!!!

In addition, each racer must sign a waiver, or have a parent/guardian sign one if you are under 19 years old. We have streamlined, and enhanced the WAIVER process this year, and at long last a singular race WAIVER will be eligible for all VCL venues. Please print and complete this WAIVER, and bring it to the first race, along with your Race Registration Fee ($15 at most venues, $25 at Windsor Park), as well as $8.00 to purchase a race number and timing chip (which is good for the whole season).

JUNIORS: Coaches DO NOT count as parents. If you’re under 19, you need a PARENT’S signature on the waiver form.
